1. I was on America's Most Wanted when I was a kid. As an extra, I mean, not featured on it. When I was in high school, the then-new show America's Most Wanted filmed a segment on Alex Kelly at my high school, and all the theater kids came in to be extras. I'd had surgery to reduce the size of a scar on my shoulder a few days earlier, so my arm was in a sling.

2. The first book I remember reading is Edward Ormondroyd's David and the Phoenix. I was around six and my mom was reading it to me before bed, and when she finished a chapter I begged for more. She said "You're learning to read, read it yourself." I finished it that night.

I can still enjoy re-reading it, too.

3. I love wearing sweatpants. Yeah, they're schleppy, but they're just so comfortable!

4. I won't mind if my recent gallbladder surgery leaves scars. I kind of like scars.

5. When I was a little kid and played pretend, I always pretended to be a lioness or a dryad or something like that. I loved dryads.

6. After I spent nine months working at a McDonald's in San Antonio, I couldn't eat there for at least a year, even though I adore their fries.

7. My psychotic abusive ex from my teen years once beat me up for "showing off" my vocabulary.

8. My favorite flower is cream-colored roses.

9. I haven't worn makeup in years, unless you could hair dye and perfume.

10. I love staying up all night and going out before dawn to run errands. The world seems so much calmer and more mine. I wish the automated kiosks at the post office would accept media mail so I could do it all the time.
