Current mood: grouchy

Mostly grumbling
I just watched the movie JUMPER. I am displeased. I loved the book. If you love the book, stay away from the movie.

Went to drop it back in the mail so it's in Netflix's hands again ASAP, and there were unsupervised kids (around 8?) on the playground. At frickin' 11 pm. There are no real parent here, I swear. I got this month's newsletter (I say this month's, but it's pretty damned intermittent) and it's all full of info on programs for kids. I'm not saying there shouldn't be stuff for kids, but how about a few things aimed at adults? Job skills, money management, things that could make a real and immediate difference?

In non-pissy news, I am starting to covet pretty cups and mugs for tea and may start acquiring a few for when it gets cooler and I am drinking my tea hot rather than on ice. This one might be a start. Isn't it cute?
