where do you guys work and do you like it?

i need a job really bad. i had two jobs, but then i had to move away into my grandma's house so i could be closer to school. i hate living with her though, it's hell. i need to move out by next month (when this quarter ends) or i don't know what i'll do. i've applied to about 5 places, my schedule didn't work out for two of them, one of them called me back for an interview but then told me that they don't need anybody at the time and the other two haven't called me back yet or anything. i don't know where else to apply to. i really don't want to work at a fast food place and i feel like i'm not good enough/pretty enough to work at the mall :\ tl;dr soo yeah, if someone could give me ideas of places to apply to or just tell me where you work and if you like it or not. tyfyt

i'm in a similar situation with not being able to find a job. in high school i got work at a kids rec center where i had volunteered for years before being able to actually get paid, and then i ended up having to leave there on short notice. i started college after that and i've been trying to find a job but haven't had much luck. i've applied everywhere and either never get called or get an interview and never hear from them again, and a lot of the places i've applied at are minimum wage. i think one of the biggest reasons i haven't found work is i have no experience save for my knowledge of child care, but i have no idea how to get experience if no one will hire me because i don't have any. also, to answer your question you could always try a local hospital to see if they're hiring for things like the cafeteria or janitorial?
