And what would you have done if it was? What if no one had been there, and he had gotten away with something else that you couldn't prove he had done? What if he took it a step further than harassment?

You're my baby sister, Bess. I see this as a terribly big deal, even if you don't.

He has to be stopped. And if him getting arrested doesn't do the job, than we'll have to think of something that will.

Rash? Are you---Fabian and I were together for a good amount of time before we moved in which was mostly for Sadie's protection and not because we were stupid romantics or anything like that, and we were together for almost two years and we---we knew that with the Order and the fucking war and everything that we shouldn't rush into anything like marriage because WE BOTH KNEW THAT ONE OF US COULD BE KILLED ON A RANDOM TUESDAY MORNING!

Fine, let's talk about Chester, who I have refused to acknowledge as an actual human being in three years. I made a mistake, I took care of my mistake, and I am absolutely in love with the little girl that I produced from that mistake. Or rash decision, as you want to call it---I am talking about the right thing now, yeah?

So sorry that I dated a boy for almost a year, one who treated me like a goddess until I accidentally got pregnant. I'm really sorry about taking care of my daughter and not getting rid of her like our parents wanted me to! So fucking sorry for making adult decisions because I don't think---

I don't know why I'm talking to you! I'm always going to be your idiot baby sister that doesn't know how to take care of herself! Forget the fact that I'm interning at a major law firm in the ministry! Or that my daughter's brilliant! Or that I have a boyfriend who thinks I'm amazing! DAMN those rash decisions I've made.

Perhaps it was wrong of me to phrase things as I did. I apologize for that. I just don't want you falling head over heals for this boy without knowing what you're getting into.

Sadie is the best thing to ever happened to you. I never meant to make it sound any other way. It was one of the best decisions you've ever made, keeping her.
