Settling in...

Henry snuggles up against both of them. "I was hungry, and figured you guys wouldn't mind a bite, too."
Josh gives a playful little nip to Henry's lip and then snuggles in. "I don't mind some bites," he says. "Just glad you're back."
Avalon just shakes his head a bit and then grunts as he reaches over Josh to grab a sandwich off the green tray. He then flops back and sighs, promptly beginning to munch. Yes. He was hungry as well.
Henry takes a bite from his sandwich, then nuzzles against Josh's shoulder.
"Got your feathers straightened?" Henry asks Avalon.
Josh eats his sandwich pretty quickly but surprisingly neatly. He grins to the others and slips and arm around each Lantern.
"For the most part, though soon it won't matter any more." replies Avalon with a little smile to Henry. He reaches out with a free hand, and trails his fingers through Henry's hair, scritching at the other boy's scalp.
"Thank you for.. everything." he then said sincerely. "Every day it is reinforced to me that I made the right decision in staying..."
Henry lays back, resting his head on Avalon's chest while draping an arm over Josh. "I'm the one who needs to thank you two," he purrs. "I... rrr... owe you two so much."
Josh drains his milk quickly as well. For such a neat eater, he really puts the food away. Leaning back, he reaches over to start massaging any parts of Henry he can reach. "I love you guys," he murmurs. "No need to thank..."
Feeling languid in his warm and snuggly place, Avalon found himself pressing soft little kisses to Henry's hair, while he simply basked in the heady emotions around him. Who needed alcohol when you had empathy?
"You're so sweet, Josh.." he says with a soft flush to his cheeks.
What...in the heck was going on? All of a sudden it had gotten really quiet in the house whereas it had been a bit noisy earlier, with new furniture and Avalon audibly giddy about it. Her own room had come pretty much already together--benefit of being the lone girl so she had gone straight there after school. But now it was just too quiet.
"Are you all alive in here?"
She didn't knock. She just walked right in. And stopped, blinking a bit. |
