"I see it!" cries Avalon, a hand coming up to grip Josh's knee in his excitement. He then flushes a bit, his smile soft as he says "Sometimes, I wonder if I will ever get to show you Naltor.."

Another sigh leaves Avalon's lips, and his head bonks down on Josh's shoulder as he looks towards the sky. "I want to take you there, but I worry that going that far into Space will upset you. We're a very long way from Naltor.."

Josh jumps slightly at Ava's excitement but smiles. "Great," he says, thinking about getting Avalon a book on astrology at some point. He looks a little nervous at the mention of space travel though.

"I'd just need time to adjust...being so far from living things..." he shivers.

"Yea.. I bet it's really tough.." replies Avalon as he turns his attention back on Josh, and his lips pull into a smile. With just his fingertips, he pulls a bit at Josh's shirt, stroking the other boy's side through the fabric.

"My ring also protects me from that.. overwhelming feeling you can get out there." he says. "I know what you mean though, the first time I went out into Space I almost freaked out. Sister Sercy had to hold my hand the whole way to Odym.."

Josh nods. "It is," he admits, a low mmmm escaping him at the petting. "When you took me up before it was...pretty intense. If I were taken away completely, I'd probably be clinging to whoever took me," he admits. "I've been sorta connected to every living thing since I was born even if I couldn't understand it..." he trails off.

"How far is Odym?"

Now that he's not dancing, Avalon's body is starting to demand to be released from it's various dimensions. He lets his wings free and then leans in against Josh, letting feathers drape around the two of them as he thinks.

"Well.. Earth is in Sector 2814." he says. "And Naltor is in Sector 5. Odym is in Sector 2682.." he laughs some, smiling to Josh as he says "We're actually closer to Odym than we are to Naltor.."

Josh smiles at the release of the wings, glancing at them and then Ava. The healer then chuckles a little. "Maybe we could try going there first? Sort of a test run for me adjusting to space and other planets?"

"Maybe so," replies Avalon in a soft tone, before he sighs out a breath and presses his face in towards Josh's shoulder. He's so happy he doesn't even bother trying to restrain himself.

"You would like Odym though," he says softly, "It's full of life.. as far as the eye can see. The creatures are all friendly and will walk with you.. I remember when I first went there I was so amazed.. I'd never seen life like that."

Josh lets out a surprised little 'eep' and then laughs, holding onto Avalon. "Really? Hmm...definitely sounds like a nice place," he says.

"it's not inhabited by a higher life form, so all of the planet is untouched.. There is a small area that the Blue Lanterns have taken for our central battery.. but the whole rest of the planet has been allowed to simply be." he says.

Avalon flushes a bit, and uses the wing curled around Josh to urge him closer, all the while tilting his chin up towards the other boy with a smile. "It's fun to get lost there.."

"Central Battery?" Josh asks, blinking. He then chuckles a little. "It really does sound nice. If it's okay with your Blue Lantern bosses, I'd love to see it sometime."
