Josh lets out a thoughtful noise. "Yeah...she can like...copy the other colors when she's close to them," he murmurs. The healer watched Ava's fingers and the battery, a little surprised by the feelings he's getting from it.

"Feels sorta like Katima's staff..." he murmurs. "That does make sense," he says. "Hmm. Now I've seen every color but orange and yellow working..." he trails off, unaware of black or white rings at the moment.

"Malicor, the one who tried to take me in space is an Orange Lantern." replies Avalon softly. The mention of Avarice's Agent causes him to shudder, and he hides his face against Josh for a moment.

"That was really scary.." he then breathes out. "I couldn't do anything but try to shield myself.. and then when he fired that final blow, I was sure that I was never going to wake up again." Avalon's face colors a bit, and his smile turns rather sweet as he says softly, "When I woke up, Henry was the first thing that I saw.."

Josh frowns at the mention of Malicor. He's decidedly not a fan of that guy.

The healer smirks a bit. "Nice sight to wake up to," he teases just a little.

That causes Avalon to laugh, and he flashes Josh a wide smile as he says "Yea.. great to wake up to in the middle of a fire fight."

He then sighs out a breath and closes his eyes, managing to hug his battery and cuddle Josh at the same time, somehow. Wings are involved though.

"Last night was crazy.." he finally murmurs.

"Hey, better Henry than like...a monster," Josh grins. He holds onto Avalon and nods. When the previous night is mentioned, Josh goes bright red. "Yeah...it was."

"Yea.. Henry is much preferable to a monster.." replies Avalon. He opens up the pocket that he keeps his battery in, and then slips it away before he turns and presses himself more to Josh's side, sitting so that a leg curls along the back of Josh's rump, and he faces Josh. Avalon the draws the other boy into his arms, and leans his chin on Josh's shoulder.

"I.. had not planned on.. doing that quite yet." he then admits, his eyes downcast. "But I couldn't help myself." Avalon then grins and pokes at Josh's side, "You weren't helping either!"

Josh smiles and leans against Ava, turning to steal a quick kiss. "We should probably head back inside," he says.

"Me either," the healer admits, also looking away. The poke brings a little 'eep' out of Josh and he half-pouts at the winged-lantern. "Hey, I couldn't help myself either. I sensed both of you and just..." he gestures vaguely and blushes.

"That seems to happen a lot, doesn't it?" replies Avalon in good humor, before he then unfolds himself from his position coiled around the other boy and stands with a stretch.

"Is it getting late? I hate going to bed so early for school." Avalon then grouses.

Josh keeps blushing and nods. "Yeah, guess it does," he murmurs. After Avalon stands, Josh hops to his feet as well. He smiles. "A little. We've got time to stay up though," he chuckles. "Meet ya down there," he says.

And without another word, Josh jumps right off the roof. The healer flips in the air and lands in a crouch. A moment later and he stands, waving up to Ava.

Avalon is taken back when Josh just.. jumps off the roof. He gasps, a hand reaching out before he blinks and then brings that same hand up to cover his lips as he laughs.

With aflutter of feathers, Avalon soon joins Josh, not bothering to use the abilities of his ring to come down; after all he prefers the feel of air through his feathers to the glow of his ring any day.

"You scared me!" he says as he lands, a hand coming up to press to Josh's chest. "I think that you have more skills than just what I expected." he then laughs.

Henry glides out to the backyard from his bedroom window, a light green glow surrounding his body.

"Hey, guys. Just talked to my dad. He's gonna be out for another couple days." He shrugs. "You guys want to come in soon? Morning comes way too early... and we've still gotta fight for the shower in the morning."

Josh laughs as Ava comes down and puts a hand behind his head. "Hey, I may not be able to fly but I'm no slouch. You didn't see me and Katima taking on that Red Lantern. I was jumping and leaping all over the place," he chuckles.

The healer glances up as Henry comes out and then grins. "We were just on our way in," he says. "We don't have to fight for it. It's big enough for two at a time," he chuckles.

Avalon looks up to see Henry and gives him a flash of a smile before he goes back to poking at Josh. "Yea.. we were just going in.. Though Josh needs to stop surprising me with stuff." he then says playfully.

The mention of the shower makes him grin even more, and Avalon says teasingly "I've been thinking about taking one before bed to make it easier on everyone else. Especially since you take the most time.."

Henry chuckles. "I need the most time," Henry replies with a wink. "And the idea is to get to school on time, Josh."

Josh gives Ava a little poke and then laughs. "But surprises are fun," he says. The healer goes a bit red but manages a smile. "Well, I can restrain myself...or make it fast and enjoyable," he says with a wink, relaxing more and more around the Lanterns.

Unable to stop the gasp from leaving his lips, Avalon gives Josh another little poke. In a rather playfully outraged tone, he says "Seriously Josh. If we start doing that before school then we'll never get there on time."

Josh just laughs. "I'm just playing with ya," he says, flashing a grin. "C'mon, let's head inside."

Avalon nods his head and makes it in with Josh, coming through the kitchen. He's starting though, and gets caught up there making a PB&J before heading up stairs.

"I got dibs on the shower tonight!" he calls up the stairs as he finishes making his sandwich.
