"Hi.." purrs Ava, before it all dissolves into a silly giggle. He shifts a bit, then draws a wing up over himself and Henry and hugs at the newly awakened boy.

"I had an interesting night." he then announces.

"Yes. I am." replies Avalon. He then shrugs a bit and goes on to say "Not as much as I was earlier. I met this half angel and he offered. I really don't understand the Earthling age limit on things but.. Whatever works."

Henry blinks a couple times, realizing Avalon's in bed with him.

"Um... Avalon... I'm naked."

That doesn't phase Avalon. "I think that I know you quite well enough to already be aware of this, Henry." he then says softly, before his fingers trail along a bare shoulder.

"I'm naked too. Really, why is nakedness such a big deal?" he then asks. To prove his point, Ava starts grabbing the edge of the blanket and slides in against Henry.

He slips back just a little. "But... you're drunk..."

He's definitely torn -- on one hand, Ava is drunk, and not entirely in his right mind, and he doesn't really want to take advantage of that. On the other hand, it's a hot naked guy slipping into his bed.

"Unlike most people my age, I am quite aware of how alcohol works and how it can impair your judgment. I'm also quite aware that Josh will probably want to fix me if I went into my own bed, and so I decided that I wanted to sleep with you."

He crinkles his nose a bit, then chuckles at himself as he then says "The only true disconnect in my actions and intentions is that where I would usually have laid in my own bed and wanted to climb in with you, in the state I am, I just went ahead and did it."

Henry relaxes a little, feeling his body respond to the closeness.

"Um... I'll tell you what..." He swallows. "Um... why don't you stay in here... and if you still feel like it in the morning...?"

"Mmm.. okay." replies Avalon rather agreeably. With a happy little smile, he presses into Henry's side, a bundle of soft silken feathers and skin.

"Why are you so unsettled, Henry?" he then asks softly. He then giggles a bit, and says "Well, I guess this isn't every day that your bed gets invaded in the middle of the night.."

"Not usually," he admits, settling back in awkwardly. "Usually, they're still here." He makes room for Avalon. "Just... watch your hands."

Ava just gives Henry a snort of amusement, and pokes at his side with a fingertip. "I'm not going to force anything on you, so please stop worrying."

He smirks now, his expression amused as he says "After what you dragged out of me the last time I was in your bed, why does my desire to be near you make you so uneasy?"

"I...'m just surprised," he says. "And... I don't want... I kinda have a rule about messing around with someone when they're drunk."

"To be quite vulgar about it, Henry, I've not reached for you cock even once." states Ava. He leans in a bit, nuzzling at Henry's shoulder gently, his words amused as he says, "I think that you have a misconception that just because I came into your bed, I want sex tonight."

He laughs lowly, his voice nearly a purr as he says "Henry, you are much more than just a sex toy to me, and believe it or not, I came to you tonight because I wanted to be close. If sex happened, in my thinking, it was simply a bonus."

Henry laughs. "Okay, then." He reaches out to wrap an arm around Avalon. "I... just want to be sure, that's all."

Once Henry relaxes, so does a certain part of Avalon, and he sighs happily as he lets himself melt in against Henry. "You are very silly sometimes." he then says softly, though the tone that he uses is full of warmth. "You should try to remember that as much as the physical is nice, I sometimes just want to be close."

He flushes a bit, then says softly "I know your heart and soul because of my empathy, but I still feel like I barely know you. Only time can change that. I've had the time with Josh to know him.. I am trying to rectify that with you and Katima."

He smiles and touches his forehead to Avalon's. "Okay, then... ask away. I'll answer anything."

Avalon gives a soft little laugh, and allows an arm to snake around Henry. "It's not like that," he then says softly. "It's just more.. time to talk and time to see what you think about things.. time to hear your opinions and laugh with you. It's not something that asking simple questions about your past is going to solve. I know your past anyway.."

He brings his other hand between them, his fingertips stroking the flesh over Henry's heart. "But. Tonight is helping. Though I can't tell if it's the vodka or the Henry that has my head spinning now." he giggles then, "You always make me feel drunk when I get this close to you.. your emotions are so potent that once I've made a connection, it's easy for me to get swept away. Josh is gentle.. you are like a force of nature."

"Yes.. but you don't hold things back, you don't try and tell yourself not to feel that way. You live your life with your heart on your sleeve and your face turned towards danger with never a fear in your heart. That's not like most people, Henry." he breathes out.

Henry shakes his head. "I'm not a half-alien prince; I can't stretch across the room; I can't create a sonic scream..." He nudges against Avalon. "I didn't save my planet before I was 17 years old."

"You should stop discounting yourself simply because you think that you are somehow any less special than any other person in this galaxy." replies Avalon, his lips smiling at the nudge.

He reaches out, his hands pushing into Henry's hair and half caressing, half scritching at Henry's scalp as he says "Henry, you are a person of exceptional character, a person with an exceptional heart. Out of every person on this planet.. your ring choose you. You didn't have to be a prince, or stretch across a room.. You didn't have to save your planet without the benefit of a ring.."

He smiles a bit, his voice low as he says softly, "The only reason I saved my planet is because I am not fully Naltorian, so I did not share the same vision for the future that every other fully blooded Naltorian simply accepted. The only thing that made me any different is that I'm half alien to them."

He shakes his head. "You're special, Avalon. I'm only special because of who my dad is, so I do whatever I can to make sure I'm worthy of that."

"I'm special? That's the difference?" asks Avalon with a bit of a snort, before he pulls back a bit and eyes Henry with a look of skepticism.

"Henry, take a look around you. Half of the students at school want to be you. The other half want to be with you. If there is anyone left from those two categories, they dislike you because the can't be like you." he grins some, "You have a really hot blond guy in the other room who is so head over heels about you that he doesn't know what to do with himself; there's a rose-skinned alien across the hallway that adores you and has chosen to stay on Earth for you. To be with you."

His hand presses to his chest, his tone dropping as he says "You have me. One of those special people that you speak of, who has lived the past few months mostly in silent misery because of how I felt but I was convinced that you simply didn't feel that way about me. It was tearing my world apart that I couldn't be close to the one who holds my heart before all others."

"I would think that with all of that considered, that you can not honestly say that you are not special in exactly every way that you claim that you are not." he then whispers as he settles in, bonking foreheads with Henry. Were he not drunk, he might have sealed his speech with a kiss, but Ava is careful to respect Henry's space in that respect.

"In some ways, your specialness is even more potent." he breathes out, a hand pressing to Henry's chest. "I'm some weird winged half breed. Your special comes all from within.."

Henry smiles softly, but he doesn't say anything further. He just shakes his head and settles back to his pillow.

"I need to get some more sleep, Ava. We can talk more in the morning."

"Okay." says Avalon simply, not wanting to push Henry any further. He nestles back up into Henry's warmth and then tucks his face against Henry's shoulder quite comfortably.

"Mmm. G'night.." he then murmurs, already sounding sleepy. maybe sleep was a good idea. All warm and snuggly and cuddled as he was, Ava was finding it hard to resist the call of sleep, once Henry's mind was made up.
