Henry laughs, holding tight to Avalon, attempting to wrestle him into submission.

Ava just gives a low little purring sort of sound and presses in, letting himself be captured. Then again, he was never really trying to get away. He raises a hand up, and curls his fingers around the back of Henry's neck, and then pulls himself in so that their foreheads bonk and he's looking into Henry's eyes.

"Oh no.. looks like you caught me.." he then says in a breathy tone. "Does that mean I owe you favors with my tongue?"

Henry looks up and around, listening for his father's footsteps, then ducks his head down for a kiss.

When he breaks, he grins. "Didn't we need to do some laps around the belt again today? Like... now?"

Mmming into the kiss, Avalon twines his arms around Henry's neck and leans into the other boy, his expression slowly going from playful to something much more serious and heated.

"I think we do.." he then murmurs. "We have to go and inspect the belt.. make sure that everything is.. in order." he agrees, as a brow raises. "It's a long flight though, it may take a while.."

"I'll go tell Dad we're going out," Henry reports, and scrambles off to tell his father.

Raising a hand up to his mouth to stifle his laughter, Avalon just watches Henry go, and then wills his clothing to melt away into his Blue Lantern uniform.

Before long, the two are out among the asteroids, exploring much more than just the belt around them.. Some time later, they actually get around to doing their maneuvers. Eventually. After Avalon has demonstrated for Henry just how talented his tongue truly is!
