[end of another school day! yay! time to go home and get some snacks to fill this poor, growing boys stomach. those rolls with the cheese and bacon bits scattered on top of it sounds nice or maybe, a bowl of cereal. maybe Mikoto was already making something for Sasuke and Itachi and wouldn't mind if he snuck in and pretended to be Itachi while her back was turned for food. all he had to be was be quiet. Aunt Mikoto always made the best food.]

[one person missing. Izuna stood under the same tree that he met Tobirama under every day, waiting for him to get out of class. he never did the run of happiness out when the bell went off but he knew how much he liked to learn so it was okay for him to be a little bit late. ten minutes late was too late. Tobirama was never that late meeting up. back into the eerie silence of the school he went again, every kid had evacuated and all that was left was teachers. if he was in here, any noise he made would be amplified times ten. one voice, then another, another and then the squeak that he recognized. follow that squeak! a couple of classrooms down it came, the door was almost closed fully but Izuna didn't even bother to check if it was the right one or not. best friends can sense each other, like twins! busts in and throws his bag down on the ground causing a loud thud, jumping straight in between Tobirama and the other kids, pushing the middle one back with a stiff shove.] Hey! Pick on someone your own size! If you want to fight someone, then I'll take you on! [he is one to talk, he is the shortest one there. just waiting for that growth spurt to set in. any minute now, it will happen. just need to drink more strawberry milk.] ... [looks like they aren't going to take the chance of getting their butt beaten by someone smaller, cursing and insulting them on the way out.]

You're late. [puffs his cheeks up and huffs, ruffling his big feathers up, ready to give a motherly scowl when you walked in late from curfew but and turns and pouts at him instead.] Did they hurt you? [goes over to and investigates, making sure there is nothing hurt.]

[gets told off for leaving foggy face and hand prints all over the glass.] I always liked tea cake the best. [;A;] And no ruining appetite for shaved ice. [rubs the smudges with his hand... and smudges them more, stands up and waits for Tobirama to order.] We like tea cake more. [tells the attendant. thats what they really wanted, not the fudge cake, pfft. who wants that?]

[watches them pack up the cake, taking the cute little box and leading Izuna outside. then pauses.] Oh wait, I forgot napkins. You wait here. [heads back inside, sneakily going up to the counter, discreetly asking for a slice of the fudge cake. gets a bag for the two cake slices, hiding the second one with a mess of napkins. hopefully there's enough left for a small shaved ice... thinks so. they can share it.] Okay, all ready. The shaved ice stand is always at this one part in the park... let's head there.

[nice move. you spring a present on a girl and it will get you good points but also with friends too, being good before and not peaking at the cake because as far as he knew, it was just tea cake.] ... [chuckles, because even if this was a girl eating cake like that, would be totally charmed. loves girls who aren't so dainty and pure and don't say "eww!" to everything. is a teenage boy after all. does a lot of eww things. tries the cake when Izuna offers it, trying not to suck on his fingers or anything weird.] It is good. [glad he got napkins. pulls those out now, and his slice of cake, giving that a little nibble.] Mm, it's matcha. You like that right? Have a taste of this. [offers. will let Izuna have most of the shaved ice, too. that cake he has is bound to make him thirsty.]
