Practice
Giovanna showed up at the room they'd arranged for Sengai. She'd leant him some recordings of news footage that helped illustrate key points in the mutant-human situation -- showing mutant monsters like the False God as well as the ignorant human mobs. Andrew wanted even-handedness; she could do even-handedness. She knocked.

"I gathered that from when we spoke." Sengai replied with a smile. He picked up on the slight shift of her body language when he mentioned his mother was human, but he chose not to pry. His father hadn't spared details of his past, so he could certainly understand. "She's a formidable woman, able to shout down father from time to time." He begins to chuckle. "I remember one time when I was young they were arguing about something. I don't remember what, but it was loud. Father has never struck her, no matter how angry he'd get. So abruptly leaves the the house for over an hour. Turns he'd picked a fight at the local tavern so he could work out his frustrations. Hehe."

	"Impressive," he said genuinely amazed. "I only speak two myself, Tamil and English. I considered trying to learn Sinhalese, but my father was against.
