A. Gilian (prounounced like Jillian) (and just to confuse people:) 'Gilly' (Indeed pronounced like Gill-ee) Torres
B. "Zodiacs are superstitious nonsense. And I'm no criminal." It's an odd opinion she has and sticks to.
C. A particularly stressful few months that saw a full scale gang war in the the triangle, originally started when some old gotham mobs fled there. They were gothamites so Batman swooped in to help that mess, not leaving it be (like GA left the triangle to be). Long nights, little sleep, a lot of stress and just needing some release led to other things.

E. Five Random Facts
1. Doesn't actually know who the Batman is but is very into following all news on him. Has a scrapbook of newspaper articles and such on him that she started at 4. It's a strict 'no glitter or any colours remotely close to flamingo' book.
2. Unlike a certain uncle, does wear more than makeup as a mask, but has makeup on underneath. Just because you're crimefighting doesn't mean you shouldn't look your best. And damn if she doesn't look fierce with that winged eyeliner visible.
3. She gets anonymous expensive presents every year but her favourite was when she got that baseball gear from her mother and on the practice that day got an opportunity to re-enact that A League of Their Own scene with a particularly mouthy idiot watching. She's pretty sure her mother was bursting with pride at that.
4. At 10, showed up to a halloween party in flamingo lipstick and a cape, with awfully clashing high socks and a technicolour polyester top. Luckily "I'm the Worst Dressed Superhero" was said just in time to save uncle GK from a heartattack.
5. Plays both baseball and softball as a pitcher, but any guys wanting to test her learn the hard way not to. She has a penchant for throwing a fast one right between their legs to give them a little scare if they mouth off too much. So what if you're not supposed to do that.
