not to be a debbie downer, but celebs don't get to take home everything they make. a good chunk of it goes to agents, managers, publicists, payments on houses and cars and other staff members. in reality they see a small portion of it.

so i'm in a pickle with my guy in this auction. he never thought he'd go for as much as he's going for now, and he said he'd match the bid. while he can definitely afford to match it, i think he feels like the charity is doing really well with what he's raised. the issue is that he doesn't want to look like a douche reneging on matching that bid. he just thinks his money, which he would gladly donate, would be better suited someplace else. i just don't know how to have him go about letting this be known...

lmao my guy is going to be shelling out big bucks for this. but i've figured, he's very modest with his money, has a lot of it sitting in the bank for years and/or has had money in stocks since 2000. does that sound feasible? i know his net worth is decent.
