well, i know i personally try to be as welcoming as i can, but i just looked for the person's sl comm post and i wasn't around at that time. plus, this is really primarily an organic sl kind of place, i came in with zero lines and have had great luck through commenting people and chit chatting.

not the op but ia on the organic sl part. i've made a lot of generic connections with some people like costars, and some have ended up closer to my girl than others while the people my girl just randomly started talking to in game actually became the closest to her. the only real solid line i planned with backstory and everything ended up not at all how i thought it would, not that it's negative but i'm just saying that I've had much more luck with sls coming naturally than preplanning them.

i also agree, i came in with ONE solid line the others were a bit waffly and the waffly ones have either blossomed into awesome or faded away, solid line has stayed because it was with a friend and the rest have been wonderfully organic.

ia. it's the organic lines that have kept me in the game because the ones i tried to plan didn't work out.

i am none of the above and ia too. it can take some work to get the organic sls (a lot of commenting around and keeping the conversation going), but it's worth it.

and they posted at like 9pm on a weekend night. i'm not trying to be mean, but most of us have lives and aren't around 24/7 to cater to someone else. they should learn to develop organically. i mean, everyone in a comm can say OH YES WE'D LOVE THOSE CREDITS AROUND but the person coming in could not be as developed as they thought they were and get nothing in return for the mere fact that they didn't try and just went on the notion that they'd be loved and adored simply for their credits. i'm sorry, but that's not how rp works. at least not to me.

Eh, no loss to me. I didn't get ANY replies to my SL post either, but my guy has made plenty of friends.

I didn't even make a sl post. Call us unwelcoming all they want but the proof about click is in the pudding. I came in knowing no one and I have great lines and interaction now. Sorry I don't want to bullshit out a bunch of sl ideas that probably won't work out
