he likes to think so, anon! he looks at the number of poc represented in a neutral to positive light that are on tv now as opposed to 20 years ago and he feels like things are progressing. but he does still have a bit of an idealistic outlook and i don't think he understands quite how entrenched a lot of cultural ideals in the united states are. i'm actually planning a little bit of drama for him coming up so he can realize this.
