i think it depends on how fast it moves along, if a scene was started a week ago and was supposed to take place that night then i don't always see the point in continuing

i agree, i hate to drag out scenes, but i also hate when the other person just decides that there's no point in continuing, but leaves it where it is. i guess i just like people who communicate a bit ooc and say "let's just end the scene here, and this happened and this happened" and then we can move on to current time.
