how does your character see him or her self in five years or the future or whatever, differ from where you'd like to see them? or is this the same thing?

mine sees herself hopefully evolving as an artist and still in the same industry. it's a lot to ask for, but she hopes she's got the longevity that others have had. i have no expectations.

he can't articulate it. it honestly bugs him to actually say out loud that he may have sacrificed a relationship in favor of his career. but he also is very well aware that nothing comes without sacrifice. and it's like seriously painful for me to even write for him because i feel like it's the key that has actually unlocked a lot of feelings and shit on so many levels. but he has a feeling like he's made it, and also lost it.

personally, my girl wants to be settled down, married if possible, and she'd ideally like to have more children. i can honestly see this happening for her, if she finds someone who doesn't automatically stick her in the friend zone and is willing to give her a chance to show her colors. professionally, i think she'd still be working, but like always being picky about the roles she takes and just making things that appeal to her. flops or not.

guys it's sap time.

can i just say how much i love this place? we do questions and we do serious memes and we are starting to get into serious character development/analysis stuff (HELLS YEAH) and it's amazing. but mostly i have seen people being like 'is this a good ui?' or like 'which icon should be the default' just like stuff you may ask a friend and it's so nice to see we all trust each other enough to do stuff like that. and we all appreciate each other's opinions and we're all so nice and positive. and YES i am on my period. and YES i want to make a cake made out out of emotions and share it with everyone and NO I DONT EVEN GO HERE (actually i do)

guys sometimes i get so discouraged with where my character is at right now and wonder if i'm even supposed to be playing her, but then i see a comment like last night where someone leaves a comment saying they want their character to be my girl's friend. whoever left that comment, you don't know how you turned things around for me. i was ready to give up, thinking i was horrible at this, and then i saw that and i'm feeling so refreshed and ready to move into the next step of building this character. thank you to everyone who comes in here and says kind words or even asks simple questions. you never know how it will touch someone when they need it most.
