personally, my girl wants to be settled down, married if possible, and she'd ideally like to have more children. i can honestly see this happening for her, if she finds someone who doesn't automatically stick her in the friend zone and is willing to give her a chance to show her colors. professionally, i think she'd still be working, but like always being picky about the roles she takes and just making things that appeal to her. flops or not.

i think my dude is actually very comfortable with where he currently is, so even if there's not a lot of forward progression, he'd still be content. five years from now he'll probably be focused a lot more on his personal life than his professional one, as he'll have started his family by then and he's very much family-oriented, but he'll still be doing a few things here and there because he's really into his particular genre, plus he loves his fans in almost abnormal amounts and loves doing things with them/for them.

professionally, she'd still like to be doing movies that she loves and is more comfortable with whether they're blockbusters or low paid movies or movies that aren't even picked up. personally, i think i'd just like to see her be happy with herself in her point in life because i think that's a lot of what is causing problems in her life right now. selfishly i hope she has the whole scpheel she wants like a family and marriage, but mostly i'd prefer her just being happy with herself.

in five years, i think my character still sees herself acting. she would want to hopefully have tackled more serious roles by then but probably thinks it won't happen. i could see her still acting but i don't think switching up genres would be as difficult as she imagines. of course whether or not the projects she could land would be good is a different story all together haha
