i don't think it does, actually. he's never had any horrific experiences with people breaking his trust - there have been a couple incidents where it was shaken a bit, even in game, but not the kind that completely threw trust out the window. he loves people, he wants to see the good in the worst person, and he feels like everyone deserves a chance at being trusted. that being said, though, he's good at reading people, and he's good at judging what he can and can't say to whom, so he's cautious, but not untrusting. the only person in game he truly tells everything to is chloe, even his closest friends don't get the WHOLE ENTIRE THING, because there are a few things in his past that would throw everyone's view of him into a blender, and he knows that.

	that kind of surprises me tbh, lmao. i really thought that he would be the type of character who's super guarded even though he's so outgoing. but i really like that he's fairly trusting! does he think that he could ever find someone other than chloe whom he really does trust and know enough and feel comfortable enough that he WOULD tell the entire thing to? i like to throw a wrench in the machine on occasion! oh god no, he really doesn't. i think it would be really paranoia-inducing for him if he found someone he trusted that much, because he would tell them things and then immediately wonder why he did that and if they'd use it against him, that sort of thing. there's one person ig who knows something pretty bad about him and even though he KNOWS that person would never use it against him, he wonders every day if telling was a mistake, lmao.
