because he has unrealistic ideas of what love and relationships are supposed to be. it's supposed to be the 'can't eat can't sleep absolute torture' kind of love that lasts a lifetime. his dad only loved his mother and never another even after her death and he has tried to imitate that the best way that he can without any guidance. the only other 'parental' relationship he saw growing up was abusive and he was given warped advice from that person. he views sex as the ultimate intimacy but it's also something he's seen used as a weapon or as a means of gaining control and/or hurting someone.

if he has time, at least once a day! more if he's lucky enough to get the time alone.

if he could change one thing about himself, what would he change and why?

he doesn't like that he's as sensitive as he is. he would like to be less in touch with his feelings and/or feminine side. which goes hand in hand with his intimacy issues that make him more insecure about himself than almost anything else.

what's his biggest roadblock in relationships? and what's the one thing that would be a deal breaker for him?

his own issues with intimacy and how he handles and deals with (or doesn't handle or deal with) his emotions. there's not much that is a 'dealbreaker' for him. he's very, very forgiving.
