i definitely say put it off a week. it's better to have the time both of you can devote to it, and hopefully by then ij will be cooperating. i definitely think this is a fun way to get the friends page moving and right now it's just impossible since ij won't stay up long enough to post anything. enjoy the time with your family, and don't worry about the auction. that's my vote!

	oh and i forgot to add, i can't access lj at work, and since i work a 9-5 job, it's not the end of the world if i can't do anything rp related at work, but i do spend quite a bit of time doing rp related stuff at work. that's my only drawback to not making a switch to lj. of course, if that's what the majority wants to do, i would definitely follow along and just adapt!
