	i'm kind of the same way. i really would like more solid friendships, like the kind with friends that my character can talk to about anything. i do have a really great romantic line though, and it came naturally and unexpectedly so i would say definitely stick it out anon! you never know what kind of lines might come your way. 	i've been here from pretty much the start, and i know in conjunction with my last comment, that might deter you, but there are people who have made friends so fast that i know it's possible to get that deeper connection with someone in the comm. both anons above and below have good advice though! that's probably something i'll have to try as well. 	then maybe you just have to make the effort with other characters. i don't mean for that to sound rude or anything, but if you're consistently trying to get that deeper connection with the same people you think your character could hit it off with and it's just not working, i'm sure there's someone else in the game who would be a good fit. so am i supposed to be narrowing my focus or broadening it?

i'm not trying to make it sound like others should be doing all the work for me, but i am busting my butt to try and make my character be a meaningful part of this game, but it doesn't seem like anybody really wants them to be. i am doing everything i can to try to make them an interesting, dynamic personality but i can't create storylines out of thin air all by myself.

	well if you've tried narrowing your focus and that hasn't worked, broaden it. we get new characters all the time and there has to be one that will find your character interesting and want a storyline with you. that being said, i'm sure your character really is interesting, but if you're down on yourself about all of this, maybe it affects your efforts some?
