hello babydoll! the issue is that you have the external css page from the selena site linked in the header of your page you're making and in the external page, that is actually the code for the background.

so i think maybe you should do something like....

take the brown from Image and maybe make it into a little image to use as the background and stick a little rough css into the header like

style
body {
background:url(brown image) repeat;
}

/style

and see how that works

awww bbb!! gladly... and you can add the brown color right into the line with your whole css thing to make the whole bg brown with that red pattern you have in it!
