neither the republican party nor the democratic party really fit his ideals and they also fail to address issues he finds important, or if they do, it's bare minimum and never with any actual intention of managing the problem. foreign policy is a big thing for him and he thinks it needs some serious reworking, immigration policy need a huge reworking as well (his views on immigration law in general is that it's complete bullshit), current government fails miserably as far as human rights are concerned, and ecological sustainability is something he feels very strongly about, especially considering the current state of the planet. there's honestly just so much, i don't know where to start or emphasize.

i like this! and i like that you thought a lot. but i was mostly just wondering if it's like he wants bigger gov (like the green party does) and how that fits in with libertarian views. but i like that you've thought about it so much! :)

WELL. as far as that goes, i don't think it was really so much about the size of government for him so much as it is how things are regulated and controlled. he thinks the government as it is has too much power and more should be given over to the people since they're the ones who really have to deal with it, the potential libertarianism was mostly based on its views on other things!
