I seriously have never been happier in a community than I am here at click. Even though there are probably more than a handful of people who don't like my kid, the rest of everybody makes it so easy to forget about that and the people who don't aren't "in your face" about it the way a lot of people in comms tend to be. Even knowing it, I don't get nervous posting from her. I don't get a stomach clench every time I see comments in my inbox to her posts. It's made my RP life so much happier. I only wish I'd had a place like click five years ago when I started rp'ing!

you are such a cool girl, lady. honestly, i love how you have developed lexie. she's a mama bear and so effortlessly sweet. her relationship with her husband is so lovely to see and their boys, and everything you post, are so adorable I CANNOT EVEN. you might think people don't like her, but fuck them if it is true, because you are lovely and so is lexie and just know: i'm right behind you, cheering her on.

i definitely have to echo what crosby-s said, and it's true. in rp at large, such a majority of writers always want to play lovable characters, or at least characters that have a bunch of friends and whatnot all the time and be happy with rainbows and butterflies. it's so tough to be able to have drama stay ic, and although there might be things that crossed the line in here with what other people said yesterday, i definitely respect you for having lexie speak her mind even if it might not be the popular opinion, because it's something she believes in.

oh no, i definitely don't care that people don't like her. i brought it up because i love the fact that even though i KNOW it, i don't know WHO it is and they've never made it a point to like ... antagonize her IC. i've been in communities where you KNOW who doesn't like you because they antagonize you every chance they get. i love that it's not like that here. it's so much more realistic and i love that i feel so comfortable playing her just as she is!

i didn't even know there WERE people who disliked lexie. but adam says screw them. he thinks she's fantastic and he's still making a cake to send to her. and he was a bit intimidated at first because his experience with moms is that all they do is talk about their kids in a way that seems alienating to those who don't have them/may not want them, and adam's never gotten that vibe before. he wants to hear about lexie's day/her family/know that they're doing well.

i only know because there have been a few not so nice secrets, but i don't know WHO and that was the only reason i brought it up. it's so refreshing to be able to play and not worry that those who don't are going to comment everything that gets posted and be bullies. i've played in comms like that and it ruins the experience. aww, i'm so glad that he likes hearing about it! i always get nervous, but i try and make sure that she makes it funny and makes it so like .. those who want kids are like "aww, so cute!" and those who don't want kids are like "thank you for reinforcing my decision!" hahah.

	I'm afraid I have one of the characters who doesn't care for her much, but it is mostly just a clash of personalities than anything else. I, however, have a good deal or adoration for the character! Don't take my character's feelings personally. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

i don't take it personally, i promise! i really only brought it up because i'm amazed at the fact that so many people can like/dislike people, but it doesn't affect the game. in other games i've been in, i've had characters that people didn't like and they made SURE to let me know. every time my kid would post, they'd say something snarky in comments or, on an update, say something to purposefully antagonize them and it made the game ridiculously unfun and i never wanted to post. but it's not like that here and i love it!
