why is it that when movie characters are in their homes, they always have their shoes on unless they just got done doing the deed? in every house i've lived in and my friends, we always take our shoes off at the door

NO!! i honestly thought that. i do rememebr watching degrassi and they had their shoes off, so i assumed it was an american thing. i didn't know any until i started rping.
