UGH, ANON. we lost someone at my job recently and so the other girl and i were scrambling like mad to try to pick up the shifts, and she REFUSED to pick up all the weekend shifts, and my boss was just like "she's not going to work them, so you have to." and i already live there on the weekends! (i have more than one job there.) and this bitch went to TAIWAN for three weeks and left me to pick up all her shit, but she won't ever work for me, even when there's an emergency. i could scream. i feel your pain! don't work for her anymore.

omg do you work where i work? i have a coworker that leaves for 3 weeks every year.

this was the first time she'd done it! and like, none of us are salaried, get your shifts covered, no big deal. but when there are only two other people who can do your job, leaving for THREE STRAIGHT WEEKS is pretty fucking insensitive.

people just don't care :( i'm always trying to take my vacations/trips when it's convenient but never for three weeks straight.
