okay i'm outing myself with this just because i need some advice. two of my friends think chester should be/should have been steve newlin on true blood. and considering that show films when sunny is being written, there's no real issue as far as filming issues go. he's not a lead so contractually he would have been able to do the story arc as well. and he's only ever in small bit parts, so there's no real issues. i just don't want people judging or anything like it's too much, even though aside from sunny, which only films 3 months out of the year, he's only had small acting roles since 2006. what do you guys think?

i love this idea. it's perfect casting and it kind of reminds me of like...michael schur playing mose on the office. hardcore fans of it's always sunny and true blood would be in on the joke, but otherwise people might not even know he did it.

and it would make sense that like, if people paid attention, they'd get the connection with the hangover (even though why would casual fans of that movie know he wrote it? lol), and with everly's sister being the waitress on sunny. and since both shows only have 13 episode seasons, it's really like he's only filming a day or so out of a year now. but you're right. if it's someone who is strictly a fan of one show, they'd really have no idea there even was a connection
