look, i am all for drama in secrets, but unless the secret maker has the balls to come out and reveal themself and have a back and forth with the person they're trying to create drama for ... it doesn't exactly do much.

you're missing the point. how is it creating drama if they just make a stupid secret? my characters don't give a shit if people don't like them, so they just blow the secrets off. after ten minutes, it's not even a blip on their radar. so how is it creating drama? it's not. so unless the secret maker comes out and says shit, the secret disappears and there was no point in it being made in the first place.
