what is the etiquette on deleting customs that aren't used?

i usually move them to a random backdate so if the person comments like "where'd my custom go?" i can bring them back to the right place again. unless they get removed. then i just delete them.

ok, that's a good idea. i just have all these old customs crowding the bottom of my page, so i'll probably move them.

a good idea, just like...if you do the thing where you put them all on one certain backdated day in your calendar? i just usually move all the old ones to like...the same date a year earlier? that way they're not on your custom page, but if you need to bring them back, you know exactly where they are.
