sort of related to the comment about spelling in the south: i'm from the midwest but i type everything like i live in the uk. i'm sure it's heavily influenced by how much i immerse myself in british television shows, but i've gotten teased by my friends for how i spell things (i.e.: organised and favourite) and i always let it slip in my lab reports at school--lab reports only because i'm an engineering student and i don't write papers. i don't even know if i could play a character from the states anymore without really focusing.

there's a chance we might be the only two, but it's fine! i didn't have a lab class last semester and i actually didn't know what to do with the free time except sleep. it was so weird, and next semester i have an instrumentation lab. :[

i work at a school and one of the kids' name is "analyse" as in analise. but the entire time i could only think of it/pronounce it as "analyze" because that's the british spelling of analyze
