where i live, all the natives got shuffled off onto the worst land and regularly go without tap water for months at a time because it's unsafe and the government won't spend money to fix any of the myriad health and safety problems on our reservations. and then people flip their shit whenever the native people complain because, apparently, "OMG THEY PAY FEWER TAXES, SO THEY DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE CLEAN WATER."
