at the risk of further stirring the pot, anons who are worried the awards being ooc will mean unpopular writers not getting noticed...i know, i'm going to take this opportunity to go through and read some narratives from writers i may have missed and check out the journals of some of the characters i'm less familiar with so that i nominate people who aren't in my current scope. i think if i do that and those of us who share that concern will also do this, then people not getting noticed because of "popularity" will be a non-issue.
