it's a LOT of fun, anon, i did it last november and when i got to 50k (which is how high you need to go to officially complete it) it was like running a fucking marathon and it was AWESOME. it's really official in november and it's really fun because they also send you preptalks from famous writers and have forums and everything and you win 'prizes' when you finish. i'm not sure if campnano is like that yet, but it's the first year. you should really look into it!

	not the oc, but i'm so tempted to do this but next month since i have too much happening right now. i don't know how well i'd be able to keep up, but maybe it'd be worth a shot. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

tbh i tried nano twice before i actually finished it and it's a lot of help if you find somebody to push you or talk with online. it's why i really hope someone opens like a click nano thing, because the change is significant in in having someone there. check out the forums or livejournal or hell, i can even give you a journal to pm if you got ideas or getting close. and when you get to the starting point, i suggest using write or die which jumps your word count insanely like for just 45 minutes. that helped me a lot last year!
