no. i think he was getting really frustrated with the fact that in acting he was always subject to the artist vision of others. which sounds awful but he's a control freak and he loves that with music he can do everything he can write the songs, he can play all the instruments, he can sing the words, it suits him to be in charge. i think he'd go back to acting though eventually and be happy now that he's pursued music.

a lot of places. but they go hand-in-hand with his trust issues and those stem from the fact that he's a lot more vulnerable that he lets on or is willing to admit. he does everything does - drugs, being an asshole, mindless sex - because it blocks the world out, it keeps everyone away. doesn't let people in, he doesn't get hurt. and he equates letting people in with loss of control. trusting people is giving up control. IF THAT IS INCOHERENT I AM SORRY. That and he has just always liked to do things right, and he's an eldest so he tends to equate doing things right with doing them his way.
