would you prefer discussing ending a line ooc or just having a break happen all ic without warning? i don't even have a line to drop, i'm just wondering because i don't think i've ever even had a line that made it to that point

i think it depends on the line tbh. like if it were a preplanned line where that wasn't mentioned, i'd want to know ooc, but if it was organic and they'd gotten together purely through ic means, then i wouldn't need to know. this probably sounds crazy lmao

i've only played through 3 break ups without someone leaving a game or w/e and 2 were completely ic and the last, because the person had computer problems, i informed them ooc that it had nothing to do with them, but the characters, because if i weren't around too much and my chararacter's s/o dumped them i'd think it were my fault for not active 24/7. so i wanted them to know it wasn't that at all.
