i guess i'll start off questions! any for althea? i always fall asleep during them so apologies if i skipped any during any other of our q & as. oh and i'll take narrative suggestions even though i'm already dissecting the crap out of the single she just released to see what i can write about it. apologies for being a fp whore as of late, btw. all her news is coming out at once and i wanna keep it in the rl timeline. /csb

	oh man, good question. she kind of worships pj harvey and bowie, but her style is really weird and a mash up of everything she likes and she likes a really diverse collection of people. as far as people she knows are concerned, her aunt is a major influence on her (she's a pianist), who sort of taught her everything she knows and encouraged her to develop her talents. 	despite writing a slightly creepy song about it, she really loves paris so she'd probably paint a cafe scene, but she also has really great memories of visiting greece with her family one year (her dad is greek) so she'd probably be more likely to paint that, just because she's not usually around the beach/ocean and doesn't go there as often. 	i really like this question! maybe vienna teng? i almost want to say she'd be half of the watson twins, even though she doesn't have a sister. just something simple and beautiful with some sort of instrument as the main focus because she would have to play something. they're kind of her security blanket. she & him could work too. oh and i seriously debated regina spektor credits, and am just remembering that now. i'm not so sure she'd work too well with a partner. her music is a really personal thing and a way of expressing herself. she says everything she can't and wouldn't off a stage and she's really independent. she gets in deep when she works on something so i can see her being really frustrated with having to go on someone else's pace/schedule. i think she'd have to have at least some project to herself.

i always thought she really liked actor as a single, if only for the video as well as i sort of saw it as a bit of an homage to her parents because she watched them sit in on a lot of auditions. i think it's some of her best writing and it short of showcases the way she straddles light and dark in her music with the harsh guitar. i have a feeling she'll be prouder of this new album as a whole though. she's going to be able to play it live, all the way through without as much help.

	working with beck, probably. he did this collaborations/covers project and when he asked her to join in it was her first wow, i think i did more than i ever thought i would/pinch me moment. (Reply to this)(Parent)

you just made my day! thank you. she thinks both the wezos are adorable, seriously. and it's not really all that specific, but she'd probably tell herself to stop worrying so much. she still does it, but when she was a kid she'd get so panicked/scared/worried over things she'd make herself sick. she'd just tell herself to relax as much as she could and that things were going to be fine.
