hmm... maybe joan on joan of arcadia? i think it was what put her into the scifi/ fantasy genre. but she's trying to broaden her horizons at the moment to other projects beyons scifi and tv work.

in the small picture, spiders really freak her out. in the big picture of her life, being a failure is pretty scary to her and losing a family member is even scarier.

what would she consider a failure? or has she failed to that scale before?

physically, she's really happy with the way her body looks and she loves her blonde hair lol. emotionally, she things she's got kind of a twisted but good sense of humor. and least favorite? she can be a little much at times and sometimes doesn't know when to pull back from things.

did she not feel like herself with the brunette hair? emily feels that way about her hair blonde. does she ever think about trying to pull it back? or does she just accept that is the way she is.

since her resume has this genre shift, when she was younger doing stuff for nick, did she expect her future career to follow the same path into comedy or did she always want to explore other things?

i think she probably thought she would stay in tv, mostly, but i think she was pretty open to her career going wherever it wanted to go. she was just happy to be getting work. that being said, she is trying to break into more movies and comedies these days.

If she could go back in time and change one decision she made what decision would it be and why?

i like to think that she lives her life without regretting too many of the decisions she's made but, going with what i said below, she might have changed that she didn't get to go to school like a regular kid. even if it was only for a year or two, she sometimes wonders what it would have been like for her.

is there one moment that she looks back on personally or professionally and regrets?

hmmm... she might have waited a little longer to get into acting because she kind of regrets not getting to have that high school/ school experience in general that a lot of other people had. she had mostly on set tutoring so she didn't go to a regular school. sometimes she wonders what it was like. and she might have taken some time off to go to college, too.

she probably begged her mom to teach her how to make her home made mac and cheese. i think if her mom was with her, it would have gone as planned but the first time she tried to make it herself, she left out flour so her cheese sauce wasn't coming together and she got really frustrated.

How does she handle feelings of competitiveness?

i think she tries to handle it the best she can. in her work life, she knows that she's in a competitive business and that she's not always going to get everything she auditions for so she has come to an understanding with herself that there will be another job after this and even if she doesn't get the one she really wants, something else will come along.
