	probably the heavy stuff like knowing someone looks up to him and then the immature stuff like being able to play outside and doing kid stuff with her just feeling like he's still young even though he's 30 (Reply to this)(Parent)

well his daughter's birthday is on august 2nd so he's actually going home to portland for a few days and throwing her a birthday party. it's the first birthday he's ever been around for and he's really, stupidly excited about it. like, ridiculously so. he's doing the whole princess theme with cake/someone dressed up as barbie/a bounce house/all of that good stuff for her and her friends. i think that's probably at this point in his life the best kind of party he would or could throw!

	when it comes to spoken word shel silverstein is a huge influence even though their spoken word styles are two extremes but the "rambling" is definitely something he got from shel. music-wise his folky-er songs come from a lot of roger miller, wilco, ben lee, but his general influences are bands like weezer, wheatus, incubus, BRMC and band of horses.
