	you wouldn't guess it, at heart he's a romantic. most of what he does revolves around a desire to make the world more beautiful than it really is. he's really inspired by the idea that he can use words and music to transform things. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	her patience with him. he's not an easy person to deal with, he's rude, and he's cruel, and he's vain, and he's a complete control freak but for some reason she stuck around long enough to break through all of that or most of it. despite all his arrogance, he considers himself immensely unloveable and the fact she can still love him despite that is huge. 	I think he really, really wanted the part of Tommy in Never Let Me Go. Personally he associates heavily with the character and I think professional he just wanted to be a part of that project. (Reply to this)(Parent)
