	he's kind of experiencing a lot of his fears - divorce was one, which left him feeling emasculated, like a failure, (another fear). but he's been able to survive so far, thanks to his sisters. they're the strongest force in his life and without them, he wouldn't have anything. so losing his sisters is probably the most terrifying thing he could experience.
