i think "burn the kitchen" was perhaps an over-exaggeration. however, i did have a narrative i wound up deleting where it referenced the replacement of some charred hand towels. and, i will say that his eyes got a little misty in london, seeing everyone together again.

at this point, i want to say he wouldn't have gotten married. stayed together with his girlfriend, but never proposed. he thinks it might have hurt less (and you know, it might have) if they hadn't gotten hitched and instead, just broke up.
