OKAY, WATCH THIS BE SUPER TL;DR. i would provide floor plans, even, but my brain is super scattered and i will probably end up doing that later.

ash tries to split her time between her mum's house in london and her flat in nyc. her flat is more indicative of her personality--she gets a little crazy with interior design and tries to change it up whenever she spends a long time there. right now, the majority of her house is in shades of blue, sand, and coral, but her room generally remains purple and various bright shades. she can be rather messy; although her kitchen is kept as neat as it can get when she's constantly experimenting with cooking, there's often clothing strewn everywhere and she likes it that way. she finds organisation amidst the chaos. it's something that she does in her life, too--she's okay with not knowing what will happen because it keeps her on her toes. and the constant changing shows her ability to adapt and adjust to her stage persona, but her room (her true self) always stays the same.

daisy, on the other hand, has a very well-kept flat in london. one of the rooms in her house is mostly black and white with the occasional coloured accent, while the rest of her house is generally neutral-toned, and her bedroom is shades of green with pink, and there are a handful of painting replicas strewn around the walls. her entire closet (which is presumably massive since she's a model and has gotten lots of gifts of clothing from designers in thanks) is colour-coordinated and organised neatly so she can just walk in and pick out an outfit, shoes and all. the rest of her flat is also organised to the tee and she tries to keep it as clean as possible--i think she probably has a mild case of ocd, honestly. i think it might be a manifest of how she was raised and how she tries to have control over all the aspects of her life and it doesn't usually work, so at least she can control how her place looks.

mick's place is pretty modern looking, all wooden floors and metal and glass, though there's a minimum of the last just in case he knocks something over (drunk or sober) or if one of his nephews and nieces comes over and breaks something. he has a huge surround-sound system and i imagine he's got a lot of the latest technological gadgets, though sometimes he's shit at working them and they just gather dust and look nifty on his shelves. his room isn't sloppy but it's not the neatest, either. he never makes his bed and there's often a pile of clothing on the floor, but it's satisfactory work--even his sisters are okay with it. he's a pretty carefree guy, so i think that shows in the way he takes care of the place, and he's very careful of what other people will think even if he doesn't admit it, hence the appearance. the lack of glass is mostly for safety purposes.

honestly? i've had vague ideas of what their flats should look like because i knew ash was sporadic and messy, daisy was very particular and actually likes folding her laundry, and mick is all about getting the next big thing, but most of that was just spur of the moment writing!

Have you ever tried finding apartments that you imagine theirs look like? like layout wise etc

not yet, but i probably will! i love doing that for the characters to whom i get really attached because i've definitely done it before and when i didn't find anything that worked, i just drew it out.
