haha, even though it's a sad situation, i'm kind of glad i'm not the only person who's been through something like this. thank you for droppin' your knowledge on me. i love and adore the sl as our celebs, but i think i just need to spread my little pb wings here at ~click and just have fun with it.

definitely do that! maybe i've just had bad pb experiences in the past, but ~click really is a breath of fresh air. i had pretty much no response to my sl post right before i joined, but the moment i got in, everyone's been so friendly, and all of that interaction went beyond just commenting in my intro. maybe once you get a grasp of your character, the line you came in with would flourish along with everything else.

see, that's the thing. i felt like i had a really good grasp on my character, and then i approached the writer about maybe her bringing someone in too (not about transferring our line, but after discussing joining, we figured we'd give that a go). i was really, really excited about ~click. then we started planning out the storyline and i don't know if it was all the details, or what, but i started feeling really dragged down by it all. there were a few days where i avoided logging in because it meant awkward interaction with the sl, and not awkward interaction because of drama, just awkward interaction because they don't click (badum chhh -- no just kidding, no pun originally intended). even tonight, i was having fun commenting around and stuff, until the sl came up and i just got really down about staying in ~click. i won't drop because i already love the lines i have, and everyone is super entertaining and so friendly. it's just a tough spot because if i drop the sl then we won't write together anymore since we both "retired" the celebs we played, but at the same time, i really want to enjoying living here, and i'm not so sure how much i will if i have to force myself to interact in the sl.

hmmmm.. that's interesting. i know that a line that doesn't really click can drag you down, i've definitely been there before, but never as bad as wanting to drop the character itself. maybe give it some time? do you think the other write feels this way? if i know i have a good enough rapport with my slp, i'd just come clean with it and be like, hey, maybe we should sorta be a little laid back on them for a bit, and see how it goes. maybe it's just because it's new, and yeah, it definitely might be the planning, too. that you overplanned it, as terrible as that might feel. maybe sort of find a way to take it slower, and don't even have the chars comment each other for a couple days even if they see each other on the fpage?

is it cool if i comment your screened post in your journal? i feel like it might be a little easier for me to break down, and for you to understand if i can lay it out, but i don't want to chance it by divulging too much here.

haha yes, go for it! i might or might not pass out in a bit, though, but if i do, we def should powwow later because i honestly am curious to see if there's a way to solve this type of dilemma.

i like that even though there are times when this journal, like any other anon journal, might get slightly negative and everything, about 99.999% of the people here truly do want to help each other and just have fun. and seriously, i'm glad you brought this up because i've had this problem from time to time and it'd be great if we could find some miraculous cure to solve it all, haha.

the two times i've ever commented here, i've found three really amazing people wanting to help me out. the first time, people offered me lines to help me get started on my character, and now you. the people here are so awesome and really do care about helping one another and making sure people are having fun. i really love it!
