YOU HAVE NO IDEA. Everytime I drink I am like.... God, Emily if only you drank so there could be drunk texts/things left.

She does. Despite his comments, what he said still matters to her and though she knows what he said about everyone else is wrong, she isn't so convinced what he said about her is wrong because she is so looking for his approval. I think even if Emily makes up with her dad, their relationship will always be odd/strained because of how he is. It will never be "normal."
