i don't mind them counting threads as updates, but the thread should have to be unlocked for everyone to see it. like back in the days when comms had threading communities. i mean, i know some people would just die before having their threads unlocked and i don't think all threads should be, but, i think they should if they're counting as an update. because then, it's kind of like updating with a narrative? maybe people can't actively participate in it, but at least they see what's going on with your character.

that's a good point. there's nothing i hate more than seeing a journal that hasn't been update for ever and wondering are they just sucking the mod's dick to stay in the game?
