First off, I love you desperately! I'm sorry you've had such a hard time. We talked a bit about it and you know I'm always here to help and support you if you need it.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say I would fully support closing this anons comm. Sometimes its fun, but it is a hindrance. I was in another game previously that had an ooc group and it basically ruined the playing experience. Everyone got clique-y and snarky and was more concerned about learning ooc information than letting things play naturally. Character interaction is the only way to build a strong, active community. I understand people wanting to make friends, but that's what AIM is for. Communities like this, especially with anon capabilities, breed unnecessary conflict like what we've witnessed tonight.

I do absolutely adore all of click, but we've all noticed things slowing down. Something needs to change.

i have to agree with you about this place being more active the community. i know i'm guilty of being in here moreso than the friends page mainly because i feel in a funk with one of my characters and the other is already lost in himself at the moment, damn that ex of his, so i've hidden myself in here instead.

and i'm trying to figure out a way to say with without sounding like a whinny bitch but we can go through 2-3 pages in here when it comes to question time but i've yet to get any comments on the clickpick post i posted last week. not that i am seeking them out by posting this but it just makes me shake my head sometimes.

i've gotten some great ideas from in here for my characters way back in the day and these days i'm just hesitant to participate in anything done in here because it seems lately that match is struck more and more.

i think clickpick is a really great idea it's just hard when so many people seem for it and then don't want to put in the effort to allow it to survive.

first off, i don't think you need to justify yourself, especially if something is making you feel better or is cathartic. that anyone would judge you is a fucking godawful reflection on them. and you don't have to justify yourself regarding narrative ideas, either. we've all done it. we build memes around it.

i do love this game. i love the people around it. at the same time, i think anon is a toxic environment. even when it starts out good, it ends up very, very bad. i know i'm just as guilty as spending a lot of time in here, especially of late. i've been a little discouraged from time to time, especially if i spend all day working on an update and get something like 15 comments, and then find the anons going in full force. but i also hope the game stays open because truthfully, everyone who's in here must at least like it, and must want it to ... get better? from its summer doldrums. i'll be honest, though. i wish the anon comm would close.

i don't know, i think it may have started with summer doldrums, and then had a domino effect. plus i do feel like anons have made everything a hundred times worse, sometimes even unwittingly. like sometimes they just make it easier to interact in here because this is where the action is going on. no one's being rude, but no one's on the fp either. you know? like, i just want to believe that if everyone in here focused their energy on actually PLAYING, it could work out. maybe i am being an optimist.

first, i adore you and li. i didn't see exactly what was said, but i still think it's shitty and i'm sorry that anything was said at all. you shouldn't even feel like you have to apologize for asking for narrative and update ideas. if someone gets seriously upset about that, then that's just fucking ridiculous.

as for the community, i have to applaud you for stepping up to mod. i debated volunteering myself, but the timing wasn't really right so i decided against it. i wouldn't be able to handle a comm this big and extensive. however, i did once mod a comm that had an anon journal with a bunch of whiners and lines crossed, and it was seriously exhausting and annoying to keep up with. eventually i handed over modding to someone else and left because it was too much, and the community closed soon after. i don't want that to happen with click because i really do see that a lot of people are very invested in their characters. i just wish there were easier ways to get everyone interacting with each other again and that activity would spread to places other than in here.

I am so grateful to you for your time and effort spent keeping this a place of joy for the members. I respect your struggle and your bravery with it, and the way you choose to bring yourself whatever peace you can have in whatever way makes sense for you. <3

first of all, i want to tell you i love li as a character. he's three-dimensional, he's human, i feel like he could be real. josh thinks he's rad and totally respects him... i'm not sure iris knows he exists, but i'm sure she would feel the same way. li is such a part of the fabric of this game and i know i along with so many others would be devastated to see you go.

on the other hand, i have immense respect for anyone involved in modding this community. modding is a thankless job to begin with; it's even more thankless here. people are always whining and complaining in here about every little thing that the mods do. so add to that the personal attacks you've sustained, and i see your point of view clear as day.

i am conflicted, because i love ~click. i love the people here and the storylines i've found. i'd be sad if you decided to close it, especially since it would be because assholes forced your hand, but i would understand why you did it and probably, at the end of the day, support it.

i've hardly been around for the last 2ish weeks because of moving back into school and such, and it's currently 7:30am here and i have class in 1.5 hours, but i just wanted to comment and say that you are amazing for taking over and putting up with even a bit of the bullshit that happens in anons. i'm sorry that i haven't been around as often as i'd like to help out with ~filmog, but i will be soon until you've made a decision whether or not to close the game. i'd be sad but would support you wholeheartedly.

that being said, i love li and i've only been partially following what happened. whoever that dipshit was can leave--i just want the ragin' asian and little miss ginger to be bffs again. :[

even though i'm no longer in the game and my kid didn't interact with li too much when i was, i just wanted to applaud you for not just shutting the game down. that - shutting down with no notice whatsoever - would've probably been the prime choice for a lot of people in a modding position who might go through what you went to, anyone. the fact that you are still so level-headed and considerate of all the other writers despite knowing someone out there is being a hurtful cunt is just a testament to you as a writer, and just as a human being.

i'm not bipolar, so i can't imagine what you're going through. i do, however, suffer from severe anxiety/depression. just as writing li bipolar is therapy for you, writing auden as normal (okay, let's be honest, she's fucking crazy, but just because she's a trainwreck, not because there's ACTUALLY anything wrong with her,) has been therapy for me. i am so sorry someone said something so disgusting/hurtful. i can't imagine the effect it must have had on you...i know it would have been disastrous to me. thank you so much for all the effort you have put into modding...i'm sure it's been exhausting. i cannot even imagine how much work it must have been. i know auden and li don't interact much, but i did enjoy it very much the few times they talked. i read everything he posts, and i think he's an incredible character and an asset to this game. and because of my own mental/emotional problems, i think i appreciate him that much more. and last week, when i said i was going to drop auden, and you were like "why?! i love her," or something to that effect, it made my whole fucking day, and i'm sorry i didn't tell you then.

You have done an amazing job as the mod, and I'm so sorry that someone has to be a fucking bitch about things. You don't deserve that at all. My middle brother is bipolar, and I know how hard that was to live with. You have my utmost respect for being able to do everything you've done while dealing with that. Seriously, I'm in awe. You are truly amazing and thank you so, so, so much for stepping up and being the mod of the community. Any decision you make, you have my support. 110%.
