Am I supposed to do an introductory sort of entry with this journal, or is it automatically known who's writing this? I haven't had a chance to really read up on it, but they've been pestering me at work to get one, so--here I am.

I got a bigger desk today. Accomplishment of the month, I suppose. Right by the window, too, it does wonders for my eyes because the offices here have always been rather dark. Hopefully the autumn weather remains as nice as it has been.

Hm. I'm not sure I've figured out the appeal of these things, just yet. All I've managed to encounter were tiresome annoyances.

You flatterer.

I'm doing rather marvelously for myself, I believe! And what about yourself? I imagine your new working quarters must have given you a new invigoration for life, etc.

That's excellent to hear, and the restaurant?

Oh, it is a bit exciting, I'll admit. I'm hoping that-- beginning to believe that this is another step toward actually being sent out of the country for reports. You do know how I love to travel.

It's doing very well, as a matter of fact--so much so, I feel almost overwhelmed by it! But of course, I'm quite resilient. I deal with success very well, I find!

I think that sounds rather fantastic for you. Of course, given the current state of affairs for our darling public and its Ministry, I don't imagine you will easily be let out of the country. Not that you'll have to deal with much more than gratuitous paperwork, given the purity of your blood, naturally.
