"I can't do this!"

Noah grimaced and looked around for anyone who would be better at dealing with a panicking bride than him. Which would literally be anyone, because he could not take crying girls, let alone a crying girl in a big poofy dress with her mascara running down her cheeks.

"I--can't--do--this!" Vivica shrieked, and Noah finally stopped pacing in front of her and bent down, grabbing her wrists to pull her hands away from her face. She looked ready to send daggers from her eyes at him, but Noah figured there wasn't much she could do in a dress that looked highly constricting.

"It's all right! Avery's---a good guy, he really likes you!"

"Likes?" she let out in an ear-piercing shriek. Noah's eyes shut in pain and immediately shook his head.

"No--no he loves you, I meant love, he definitely loves you and---" Noah looked frantically around, "And he wants to have babies, Vivica, little babies--don't you like babies?"

She eyed him carefully, taking quick, whimpering breaths. Noah begged to whatever was looking down on them that this was the right way to go.

"Really?"

"Mhm. Little Vivica babies. He told me so."

They had a little stare down for what felt like an eternity, but finally Vivica nodded and gestured for Noah to help her stand up. He got to his feet and pulled her up. It was awkward and, well--they ended up on the floor, again, this time Vivica very on top of him.

"Sorry--"

"Thank you."

Noah twist his face toward hers and she wasted no time in kissing him. Ah--whoa, okay, best friend's future wife lying on top of him and snogging him---not---good, but---eh.

Avery was probably off doing the same thing.

Liz jumped back quickly as the locker in front of her was slammed shut.

"What the hell are you doing!" she shouted at Alex Smith, who was---GIRLS LOCKER ROOM. "WHY ARE YOU IN HERE! GET OUT I'M NAKED!" Liz screamed, even though she was fully dressed, even with her black robes over the rest of her uniform. Alex simply rolled his eyes and put his hand over mouth, and Liz continued to make loud noises against his palm.

"Will you shut it? I just need to talk to you."

By now, she was pinned between his arms against the locker, and Liz wasn't quite sure if she was supposed to be terrified or enjoying this. She was leaning toward terrified.

"What?" she asked suspiciously, revving up her knee to get him right in the groin. He'd been such a douche, lately, and if he wanted to murder her so he could get his spot on the quidditch team back, well. Alex Smith had another thing coming.

"Graeme fancies you."

"...really?"

"Yep. I heard him telling Goldstein about it, he's gonna ask you out next week."

"...oh."

Liz blinked slowly up at Alex, before she noticed he was coming closer.

"...then...why are you seducing me."

"Do you think I'm seducing you?" He asked this against the skin below her ear, and Liz's eyes fluttered shut, her hands going to his shirt.

"I...think so..."

"Well," muttered along her jaw, "if you must know--" down to her neck and back up again, "I don't like my roommates getting things before me."

"...oh."
