Rafe stared down at the tiny blond pressed between him and the laundry machine. He really, really wanted to kiss Erin, but with their history, it just...might not be a good idea.

"If I kiss you now," he said softly, his hands reaching up to push her hair out of her face. He'd forgotten how soft it was, "everything's going to change, again."

There would be the media hounding them all the time, quidditch schedules, ministry schedules, just their crazy lives in general. They could barely handle it while they were just Hogwarts students, how were they supposed to do it now with their whirlwind lives?

Rafe frowned slightly, watching as Erin's nose scrunched in that all too familiar way. He'd spent so much time staring at her that he knew all of her facial expressions, and he knew that right now she was turning over the pros and cons of the situation they might be heading in.

"I don't care," Erin finally said, looking up, her hands lightly going to his chest, "I want it to change. I want to be with you."

That was all he needed to hear. Rafe ducked down and kissed her, slowly at first, but he'd never been able to keep his hands off of Erin Jugson. Seeing as this was their first kiss in nearly three years, his arms wrapped around her tightly and the kiss deepened...he wasn't going to let it go to waste.
